Peter Cooke's Priest character was the most memorable of all in the wedding scene. His R's and L's being pronounced as W's. Wuv. Twu wuv. I laugh so hard every time I see that part. As a matter of fact, I watched the scene just last night on here. Great stuff. Cooke's portrayal is at least par with INCONCEIVABLE! My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. My family has had this movie longer than I can remember and I've seen it 100s of times. As little kids, my brother and I would pick up sticks or any kind of long cylinder-shaped object and say "Hallo! My name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die! Hey, we still do! Practically everyone I know has seen this movie. You can quote any line to one of my friends and everyone with start saying things like "Inconceivable! and "Mawwage. I have one friend who watches the movie almost every week, once she watched it three times in one day.

The best thing about this movie is that while kids can watch it, with only 1 swear word and not too-disgusting scenes) adults love it too.

If you like movies with sword fights, romance, medieval-type settings, and some silliness, you have to see this. Swordfighting movies are a big part of my favorites, such as "The Mask of Zorro. The Three Mustkeeters" etc.

When I was little my mom also read the book to my sister and me. I recommend it, especially because of the added background info. of the characters.
